People learn languages in many ways. One aspect of language learning is memorizing small portions of vocabulary then using the learnt vocabulary in a sentence, typically through repetition.

For the young, learning their mother tongue is generally achieved through listening and repeating words and sentences from teachers or parents.  If the child, or indeed an adult, needs additional teaching, the traditional route is to listen to CDs or other electronic media that contain lessons directed towards increasing the language skills by learning and reading the language to be learnt.  If the definition of a word is needed, the student typically refers to a dictionary.  Dictionaries are available in traditional format or in electronic format, but generally only serve to provide a definition of the word and in some cases, the phonetic pronunciation of that word.

Currently, the inventors are unaware of any method or system whereby a dictionary is converted to either a comic format or a film to help teach a language or to improve upon the fundamentals of a language; should the student already have a basic grasp of that language.

Mindful of this gap in the ability to learn a language quickly and efficiently and, for younger people, in a fun and stimulating format, the inventors have designed a method and system to address the aforesaid problems.
